This tribute fund is in loving memory of Conrad J. Alleman.
Conrad was diagnosed with soft-tissue lieomyosarcoma (LMS) on July 27, 2023. After almost three hard-fought years with LMS, he entered eternal rest on June 1, 2026 surrounded by his family as he wished.
Among many titles, he was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Fishing was one of his many passions. He knew the waters of Bayou Gauche, Louisiana better than anything on land, and he would never shy away from a day on the water. Earlier in his life, he was also an avid rabbit, duck, and deer hunter. The marshlands were his second home. His first home was anywhere his family resided. He was a big family man, enstilling values of faith, perseverence, leadership, and humility, among many, many others, into his children and grandchildren. His grandchildren, in particular, were the light in his eyes. He was very proud of the life and family that he built with his wife and best friend, Jeanne ("Jan"). They shared many adventures, loved to listen to country music classics late at night, and shared a truly unmatched love spanning 27+ years. He also loved watching LSU baseball/football and the New Orleans Saints.
Conrad was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need, no matter the task, and he always put others before himself. In his final wishes, he chose to have all proceeds in his memory go toward LMS research. There is neither a cure nor many treatments for this rare, aggressive form of cancer, as LMS is not currently at the forefront of cancer research. In his heart, however, he wanted to help and provide hope for all those who are diagnosed with this disease through direct, grant-funding donations to LMS research. We are forever proud of him, his fight, and his resilience throughout this journey!
Our mission is to empower patients with information and support, fund groundbreaking LMS research and provide a bridge between patients and researchers, to collaborate on finding a cure.
