Hello, friends! First, thank you for giving your precious time to this campaign to end Uterine Leiomyosarcoma! YOU are part of the cure, now - simply by being here. Whether donating funds to research surrounding this extremely aggressive female reproductive silent killer or simply sharing across alllllll of the medias, YOU are part of the solution!

My name is Lorigene, though I fondly go by Sis/Sissy Bean/Frogger. My dad, Erin, is in the beautiful photo with me! We are up at Artist Point, in the Mt. Baker area - we go each summer! I recall doing that as children, as well. Our immediate family is also comprised of three dudes I refer to as my personal 3 Stooges (all younger!) and their families. I am blessed by my amazing husband of nearly 10 years and two babes, ages 9 and 6!

Now, for the reason I have created this page. Our mother, the matriarch of our family, died of uterine LMS on July 13th of 2023. We were all unaware of her cancer until I helped her into the ER one night, for breathing issues. From that fateful night to obtaining her diagnosis to her passing - 3 weeks. That's all it took, for uterine LMS to take her life and break our hearts. In one fell swoop. 

Her name is Natalie, and she was 59 years old when she passed on. I will be planning walks and such in the future! But, for now? I am thrilled with this start!
