In Loving Memory of George W. Schneider "Skip"

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of our beloved father, George W. Schneider, "Skip," who left us on March 15, 2025, at the age of 74. He was a cherished father, friend, and loved one who will be deeply missed.

In honor of his memory, we invite family and friends to support a cause that meant so much to us—LMSDR (Leiomyosarcoma Direct Research Foundation). This incredible nonprofit provided us with vital information that helped extend our time with him, and we want to give back by raising awareness and supporting their mission.

Dad was diagnosed in October 2024 with Retroperitoneal Leiomyosarcoma (RLMS), a rare and aggressive cancer that originates from smooth muscle tissue in the retroperitoneal space. By the time it was discovered, the tumor in his abdomen had already grown to 20 cm. Despite the odds, he fought like a true warrior, never once complaining and facing every challenge with strength and grace. We are endlessly proud of him and the fight he put up against LMS.

We hope to honor his legacy by helping others facing this disease. Every donation—no matter the size—helps fund critical research, provides support to families, and spreads awareness about this rare cancer.
