Our sweet Lisa left us on September 6th, 2023 after a vailent battle with uterine leiomyosarcoma. She was only 62 years old and had so much life yet to live. Lisa was the most courageous person I have ever known. She faced her diagnosis and treatment with determination, positivity,bravery, and grace. She loved her family fiercely and did her best to stay with us as long as her failing body would allow. We will miss her every single day the rest of our lives. She truly was the best of us. We won't say goodbye. Just "See ya later".  We know she was at peace and we are all comforted in knowing that she knew how much she was loved and treasured. We reluctantly give her back to her creator who loved her first.Lisa, we love you to the moon and back and to infinity and beyond. And even more than that. Our hope is that advances will be made in the research and treatment of this rare and horrific cancer that robbed us of our beautiful Lisa.
